Amritsar: The country has lost many of its brave sons, but Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu, who tweeted on almost every issue, is silent on the issue, or as if he had not made any difference. Social media users have been outraged after Sidhu's silence on the sacrifice of Mother Bharti's brave sons and tweets wishing him on the party president's birthday. The natigens are describing Sidhu as a Pakistani lover and true younger brother of PM Imran Khan. During his visit to Kartarpur Sahib, Sidhu described Imran Khan as his elder brother and had earlier hugged Sidhu, Pak Army Chief Bajwa on a visit to Pakistan. But he may not have considered it appropriate to pay homage to the martyrdom of the brave soldiers of the country. This angered social media users across the country. A user named Amira surrounded Sidhu and wrote, 'Silence yesterday and flattery today? Priority. Does your behaviour represent new Sikhs in the country?'
@Mourinhojose01 described Navjot Singh Sidhu as a 'bin pendi ka lota' and wrote, "Write for 1 line CDS bipin rawat also for tribute, tera bajwa will not mind. Another user Rishabh Khandelwal enumerated Sidhu's priorities one by one. He wrote, "Not a single word on the passing away of General Bipin Rawat. Nor a single word for those 11 brothers, including Bipin Rawat's wife. No prayer for a brother who is fighting the battle for life and death. All love, all happiness. Everything for Bajwa and the Congress. '
