LOS ANGELES:  At a concert in Chicago, a fan threw what appeared to be a bottle at the singer Harry Styles, striking him squarely in the delicate area.

The former member of One Direction was addressing his fans onstage during his recent "Love on Tour" stop at the United Center in Chicago, as he usually does throughout his performances.

He was struck by what seemed to be a bottle in his crotch area while discussing the weather in the Windy City, according to aceshowbiz.com.

Harry started displaying pain and discomfort right away on the video documenting the occurrence.

"Now that's unfortunate," the "Don't Worry Darling" actor muttered into the microphone as he knelt over and winced. Styles was afterwards observed shaking both of his legs.

The audience cheered as he said, "Okay, shake it off," in reference to his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's song, "Shake It Off."

The heartthrob appeared to be trying to get rid of any pain by jumping up and down.

This wasn't the first time a fan had hit him while he was performing. Back in August, during his "Love on Tour" stop in New York City, fans turned the 28-year-old celebrity into a target and threw food at him while he was on stage.
