The number of corona patients is decreasing in Ujjain. On Sunday night, 6 new cases of corona were reported in Ujjain city. Now there are 676 total infected. Out of these 57 patients have died and 445 patients have also been cured. On Sunday, 13 patients returned home. There are now 174 active patients in the district. The new patients are from the Ghasmandi square Freeganj, Shantinagar, Gol Mandi area. Apart from this, another jawan of the 32nd Battalion has been found infected.

In April, only 2.83 percent patients returned home after defeating the disease. But in May this figure has crossed 65 percent. So far 676 cases of corona infection have been reported. As of May 31, a total of 445 patients have returned to their homes after recovering. Of these, 441 were discharged only in May. The maximum number of 535 new cases came and 33 deaths were recorded in 31 days. The first case of corona infection in Ujjain district came on 24 March. After this, a total of 141 cases were registered till 30 April. Of these, 24 people died.

There has been a steady increase in the cases of infection and the figure has crossed 500 on May 21. By the end of May, the graph of the infected has reached 676. The death rate of the district reached 22 percent in early May. But later it was reduced. With this, the recovery also increased.
