NEW DELHI: Smriti Irani, a Union Minister, on Monday officially launched the Knowledge Mission of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) in the national capital.

"There is a significant need for the merchants across the country to modernise their old business model with the use of digital technology and contemporary business tools," said Irani. "The business environment of the country and at the global level is fast changing.

Through this campaign, the CAIT hopes to inform and inspire traders, with a particular emphasis on young people and women, to start their own businesses and include state-of-art, contemporary, and digital technologies. Through workshops, seminars, and conferences both online and offline, this campaign will be carried out all throughout the nation.
