Patna: The scope of covid infection in Bihar spread to 32 districts and 211 new covid infections were identified on Friday. A day earlier, 258 new covid infections have been recognized in the state. Information received from the Ministry of Health found more than 10 infected in 5 districts of the state and less than 10 new infections have been found in the remaining districts.

According to information received from the health department, most of the 68 new covid infections were identified in Patna. While 12 new infections have been identified in Muzaffarpur, 13 in Bhagalpur, 12 in Gaya, Jahanabad.  In the last 24 hours, 51,662 samples were screened in the state. So far, 2 crores 34 lakh 26 thousand 834 samples have been tested in the state. The figure of corona-infected active patients in the state has increased to 1000. So far 1569 covid infections have died in the state. So far, 2,64,409 corona infections have been reported in the state and out of these, 2,61,839 have been healthy after infected treatment so far. In the last 24 hours in the state, 133 infected patients have returned to their homes after treatment.

On Friday, 1 lakh 961 people were given the corona vaccine: It is also said that 1 lakh 961 people have also been given corona vaccine in the state on Friday. These include both the first and the second doses. According to information received from the department, 95 thousand 47 people took the first dose of the vaccine in those who have been vaccinated on Friday. The number of second dose takers is 5,914. The first dose taker has 80 thousand 425 people above the age of 60 years. 10,736 people aged 45 to 59 years took the vaccine today.
