Popular actress Sonali Bendre recently diagnosed with high-grade cancer and was even undergoing treatment in New York for the same. But she is a brave lady and brilliantly tackled condition. Now the actress is hopeful as Sonali Bendre is about her complete recovery. With heaps of good wishes and prayers, the actress is fighting the 'ugly C' with sunshine, one day at a time and honestly, it has been reassuring to see her stand strong in the face of adversity. In fact, the actress also has been documenting her journey by cutting her hair short to acing the bald and beautiful look and we are still in awe. In her recent photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar where she is posing as the powerhouse and source of inspiration that she is.

Sonali took to Instagram and shared the cover page on the Twitter. she wrote, "There’s no one way to tell how our experiences change us or shape us. Not all transformations are visible, but they will always leave an impact. What I’ve learnt is to never let it hold me back. I would rather dress up and show up! That’s how I would describe my day, shooting for the @bazaarindia cover. Had a great time talking to you, @sanjuktasharma; thank you! I love the pictures, @tarun_khiwal! Sonali had also turned up for the chat show BFFs with Vogue with her pals Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi. As per the report of Mumbai Mirror,  actress revealed how her whole life had been about her hair. She said, "Now that I think of it, earlier, my whole life had been all about my hair, even though it sounds superficial. I’ve endorsed every hair product at some point in my life.”

The actress also expressed how she had to let go of vanity and truly embrace herself to do what she did and added, "My sisters and friends were with me for support. I was sure I didn’t want it to be clumpy and feel horrible about it. I wanted to enjoy getting rid of it as much as I had loved wearing it. My friends and our kids were all with me when I got the first haircut. I kept it short and it did look nice."
