Home and Urban Bodies Minister Anil Vij has done another blast. After which there has been a stir in the politics of Haryana. Let me tell you that after the tussle with Chief Minister Manohar Lal regarding the CID as Home Minister, Vij has taken a big step as Urban Bodies Minister. They have banned CLU in urban bodies with immediate effect. Now, CLU (Change of Land Use) will start after the online process is arranged. In such a situation, in urban bodies, the system of collecting 'service-water' by the employees in the name of CLU will be closed.
In his statement, Urban Bodies Minister Anil Vij said that all types of CLUs associated with the department have been banned. No case related to CLU will be pursued till the online process starts. Taking notice on complaints of corruption in CLU cases in urban bodies, Vij has directed V.K. CLU will be approved online in all ten municipal corporations, 19 city councils and 61 municipalities.
For your information, let us tell you that in urban areas, CLU approval has to be taken before building petrol pumps, hotels, banquet halls, marriage palaces, dhabas as well as residential and commercial buildings. Usually outside the city, but this approval is necessary for land falling under the purview of bodies. Complaints of a big 'game' in CLU cases were reaching Vij. After this, the minister has instructed to implement the software prepared by Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority in all the bodies across the state.
