New Delhi: You must have heard the stories of brutality in ISIS , today we are are going to tel you the case of a 13-year-old boy who was held by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants when he was 8 years old. This child, Abdullah, is originally from Pakistan, but grew up in London. Abdullah was later brought to Syria with his younger sister and 2 brothers. Today they are all died and this boy is in detention camp from where he wants to return to his British home.
Abdullah's story has come to light through journalist Andrew Druri, who went there in early June for his upcoming film 'Danger Zone' and spoke to Abdullah. According to media reports, Abdullah spoke about how he likes football club Chelsea (chelsea) and fast food chain McDonald's . According to Abdullah, most of his family members were killed in US air strikes in March 2019. He is now being placed in the Kurdish-run Hori Centre. It is, in a way, a rehabilitation facility for boys who are accused in ISIS violence.
Abdullah tries to explain in his story that it had been less than 1 year since he came to Syria when he was taught how to use an AK-47 rifle. He also says that he never used it, but ISIS wanted him and other children to do so. Abdullah is one of the children who was promoted by ISIS as 'Khilafat Kabs' just as Hitler gave to the youth. He explained that when he first went to ISIS school, he was taught how to operate weapons.
