The Nag missile has been developed with day and night capabilities to counter highly resolute enemy tanks within a range of 500 meters and a maximum of 4kms in all weather conditions. The production of the third generation guided anti-tank missile Nag is expected to be launched later this year. Till now, the trial was going on. The missile was tested for winter in 2018.

The 'Nag' was tested separately on Sunday at Pokhran in Rajasthan, both day and night. According to army sources, the anti-tank guided missile hit its dummy target. It is now believed that it could be inducted into the Indian Army fleet soon.
