New Delhi: The top court has refused to give any interim decision on the petition filed for media coverage of Tablighi Jamaat. The matter will be heard in court next week. Earlier in Delhi, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind had reached the Supreme Court against some news channels, accused of trying to tarnish the image of Nizamuddin Markaz and Muslims.

Jamaat President Maulana Arshad Madani said that the court will adopt a strict attitude on the basis of our complaint, as strict instructions have already been given in this regard. An attempt is being made to taint the entire Muslim community. The image of Muslims is also being misrepresented on some TV channels and social media.
