Rizvi says the flag is almost similar to the national flag of Pakistan. Some clerics have wrongly linked the flag to Islam, though it has nothing to do with Islam. He said the flag often causes communal tensions and increases the distance between the two communities. Therefore, it should be banned.  The petition also said that Prophet Mohammad Saheb used a white or black flag in his convoy.
