New Delhi: The Supreme Court has taken a tough stand on the sale of old crackers in the name of green crackers (Green Crackers). The court warned all states that the court's order banning crackers should be planned in all states. The court said the firecracker was banned but are used in all festivals.

The Supreme court said that we cannot allow celebrations at the cost of life, where do people experience loud crackers sound during the festival. The Supreme Court said the festival can be celebrated with noisy firecrackers. Noisy firecrackers cannot be allowed. The next hearing of the case in the Supreme court will be on October 26. The court reprimanded cracker companies for using banned material in crackers even after a court order. The Supreme court told cracker companies that we will not allow you to keep banned materials in godown as well.

Earlier in the last hearing, the Supreme court had issued notices to 6 cracker companies using banned materials even after a court order. Preliminary investigations by the CBI revealed the purchase of barium and their use in firecrackers by these companies. The court had said it would consider cancelling the licences of public companies.
