New Delhi: The apex court has once again refused to intervene over the farmers' tractor rally. In a hearing held on Wednesday, Chief Justice (CJI) Sharad Arvind Border said that the matter is in the hands of the police, the police will allow it. The CJI, while hearing, said that we have empowered the Committee to listen to the farmers and come to us and file the report. What is the point of favoritism? The CJI said, "Don't put a stigma on the court."

Ahead of the meeting with the government, farmers' leader Gurname Singh Chhuni has said that we have no hope from today's meeting. Another date will be given by the government. The government is not addressing this problem. We will take up our tractor rally and not disturb the Republic Day parade. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikat says that the government is now working to break and scare us, but we are not going to lag behind. We do not want to give the opportunity to the Government that they have to say that we called and you did not come. The route of the tractor rally is not yet final, we will inform it through the newspaper.

Farmers are adamant about the insistence of removing the tractor rally on Republic Day. The meeting is scheduled to be held today between Delhi police officials and leaders of farmers' organizations on the same issue. The meeting will talk about the removal of the tractor rally. The same issue was also heard in the Supreme Court today.
