New Delhi: The country's Supreme Court will hear today on the petitions filed against the road blockade in the Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi, the capital of the country. In the last hearing, the top court-appointed senior counsel Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran as negotiators.

After this, former Chief Information Commissioner Wajahat Habibullah filed an affidavit in the apex court. The affidavit stated that the ongoing protests in Shaheen Bagh are peaceful, but the Delhi Police has closed 5 routes all around Shaheen Bagh, causing problems to others, if the police open these roads then the traffic is normal. He said that school vans and ambulances were being allowed to go after a police search. The affidavit states that the government should hold talks with those involved in the protests.

The petition said that due to this protest, the road connecting Delhi-Noida has been closed, due to which people are facing a lot of problems. The petition has sought to set out broad and complete guidelines regarding the complete sanctions imposed due to dharnas or protests.
