Everyone is doing everything possible to help the migrant laborers and other needy people but recently, a scam has been caught in the vegetable prepared in the langar. In which five employees, including the manager of Shri Keshgarh Sahib, Jasvir Singh, have been suspended by Gobind Singh Longowal, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee. Jasvir Singh, manager of the suspended Takht Shri Keshgarh Sahib, Manager Lakhwinder Singh, an accountant, storekeeper, and gurdwara inspector are also included.

SGPC Chief Secretary Dr. Roop Singh has taken big action after finding this thing. Under which he has thrown out many employees. According to Dr. Roop Singh, he had written to Longowal to get them registered against him two days before receiving the report of the investigating officer. Longowal has given the responsibility of the manager to Gurdeep Singh Kang to run the work of Takht Keshgarh smoothly. Kang was earlier handling the responsibility of the manager in Gurdwara Machhiwara Sahib.

During the Corona period, Sangat's inflow was very less in Gurdwara Sahiban. During this time SGPC was doing this for the needy. It was preparing an anchor from the Gurdwara Sahiban and sending it to Sangat. During this, the manager scammed millions in the vegetable bills to be prepared at the langar. The suspended manager scammed lakhs in three months of April, May, and June by submitting fake bills for the purchase of vegetables to the accounts department. The guilty employees were also involved in this.
