Death penalty and cutting body parts of "criminals" to resume in Afghanistan

Kabul : While the world is waiting for "reform" in the taliban, the Taliban has surprised people by announcing that the death penalty and cutting body parts of "criminals"about to resume in Afghanistan. The Taliban have dealt a severe blow to those who expect decent and world-established standards of the justice system.

Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, one of the founders of the Taliban, said in an interview to The Associated Press that the sentence for execution (Executions) and cutting of body parts (Amputations) will be resumed in Afghanistan. However, they will not be publicly demonstrated. Mullah Nooruddin said that all the people criticized our decision to punish, but we have not said anything about their laws and punishment. Turabi said that the world should not tell us how our laws should be, we will follow Islam and make our laws on the basis of the Quran.

The Taliban leader said a punishment like cutting hands is essential for security. These punishments have a great impact on reducing crime. Mullah Nooruddin said the Taliban cabinet is currently considering whether these sentences should be given publicly. The Taliban is going to make a policy about it.
