Hera Pheri (2000) is one of the best comedy films made in Bollywood. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film saw Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty playing the lead roles. The sequel for the film released in 2006 and created a roar of laughter. The second part was helmed by Neeraj Vora.
From the past few years, the reports of Hera Pheri 3 are making headlines but nothing concrete had come out about it. However, in an interview with a leading media, Suniel Shetty revealed that they are planning to make Hera Pheri 3. The Dhadkan actor said, "Talks are on with Priyadarshan for the third part. It should happen by the end of the year. There is a lot of discussion around it. I am excited about it."
About the film, Suniel said that the audience loves and relate to the honesty, simplicity and struggle of the three characters. The actor also said that he likes Hera Pheri more than Phir Hera Pheri and even appreciated Priyadarshan great writing.
I don’t love ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ as much as I liked the first one. (It had) honesty, great writing and the pure genius of Priyadarshan,” he added. Shetty, who was last seen in Sidharth Malhotra’s A Gentleman (2017), said he wants to work in good films.
“I am looking forward to doing a lot of good work, be it here or in the south in the few years. I am doing roles that suit me,” he said.
Apart from this, Suniel Shetty revealed that he is open to doing films in any industry of roles suit him. In the coming time, Sunil will be seen in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
