Chennai: A truck driver set himself on fire after police seized a car in Salem in Tamil Nadu. The incident is of the Kondapatti area. Here a truck driver was driving the truck drunk. The police were searching vehicles near Kondapatti. The police also stopped him for checking and found that the truck driver was driving the truck drunk.

They immediately cut his rs 10,000 challan and seized the vehicle. The truck driver Santosh was disappointed when the vehicle was seized. After which he went to the nearby petrol pump and bought petrol from there and came to the checkpoint. After this, Santosh poured petrol on himself in front of the police and set it on fire. As soon as the fire broke out, Santosh started screaming and ran here and there. The police immediately called an ambulance to the spot and sent Santosh Kumar to the government hospital for treatment.

The doctors of the hospital said that his condition is very critical at this time. The police have registered a case in this regard. Police said Santosh works as a resident of Arsamarathu Kartur and a truck driver. The CCTV footage of Santosh setting himself on fire on the road is now rapidly going viral on social media.
