Chennai: The police of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, had registered a case against 311 workers, including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary H. Raja. Police had taken BJP workers to Marina beach on Wednesday when they were protesting against Nellai Kannan over remarks against PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
At the same time, Tamil scholar Nellai Kannan, who has made objectionable remarks about PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, has been arrested by the police. He has been arrested from Perambalur. BJP leader H. Raja himself filed a case against Nellai Kannan. BJP says that Nellai Kannan was suggesting to incite Muslims and assassinate PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Nellai Kannan had said that Amit Shah's mind is behind PM Modi. If Amit Shah had not been there, PM Modi would not have been here. Kannan had said that if the story of Union Home Minister Amit Shah ends, then PM Modi's story will also end. Kannan also said that I hoped that something would happen, but no Muslim is doing anything.
