Mangalagiri: TDP state president K Atchannaidu termed the attempt by YSRCP gangs to enter Naidu's house as "brutal and brutal". He accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of turning Andhra Pradesh into 'Afghanistan' while the ruling YSRCP was behaving like 'goons' Taliban. The factional chief minister was responsible for the attempt to lay siege to the house of opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu. TDP leaders on Friday condemned the attack on TDP national president N Chandrababu's residence in Unavalli with "stones and sticks" by ruling YSRCP leaders. TDP leaders termed stone-pelting at Naidu's house as "murder of democracy". The police was watching the attack like a mute spectator and made no effort to stop the YSRCP MLA and others from coming near Naidu's house. TDP leaders recalled that in the past, police had prevented opposition leaders and the public from coming out of their homes when they tried to stage protests on public issues like attacks on Dalits, temples etc.

The factional rule had devastated the entire state in every possible way in the last two and a half years. "Is it a crime to raise voice against the misdeeds of the government? How can the ruling party leaders attack everyone for questioning about the problems of the people?" Atchannaidu said.

Atchannaidu demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Police immediately arrest YSRCP MLA Jogi Ramesh for masterminding and leading the attack on Naidu's house. If action is not taken against the goons responsible for stone pelting at the former chief minister's residence, TDP will launch a state-wide agitation. YSRCP 'goons' physically attacked and pelted stones at TDP workers and leaders.
