HYDERABAD, Feb 18: A traffic accident in Telangana's Nagarkurnool district killed three college students and injured one on Friday. According to police, the tragedy occurred when their car overturned near the Marchal village in Kalwakurthy mandal.

Four students from a private college in Hyderabad returned home after attending a friend's wedding. Kiranmayi (19), Sirisha (21) and Arvind (21) were the three people that died (23). Renuka, another student, was badly hurt and sent to a local hospital.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to a government hospital in Kalwakurthy for autopsy. The victims were from the Nalgonda district and were staying in a Hyderabad college dormitory.

According to early investigations, the vehicle overturned and crashed by the roadside after the driver lost control owing to excessive speed, according to a police officer. After attending a friend's wedding at Bandonipally village in Veldanda mandal in Nagarkurnool district, the students were returning to Hyderabad.
