Hyderabad-Telangana: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is all set to inaugurate the newly-constructed state secretariat tomorrow, April 30, in a traditional ceremony, state minister Vemula Prashant Reddy said.

On Sunday morning at 6 am, a three ritual will be held. Chandi and Vastu Homan rituals will be performed till 10 am. Subsequently, the Chief Minister will reach the secretariat around 1.20 pm, as per the schedule released by the officials
The 12-minute Pushkarams (auspicious time) period is between 1:20 to 1:32 pm. At the entrance, the chief minister will cut the ribbon before entering his chamber to file the first document at 1:30 p.m. We built the buildings on between two and a half and three acres of the about 28 acres of land. 90% of the space is unused. The lawns cover almost ten acres. three acres of land for roads and a total of acres for parking.

Telangana's Minister of Legislative Affairs and Housing, Vemula Prashant Reddy, stated that the new Secretariat will cooperate with the ministries, secretaries, and bureaucrats to speed up task completion.

The older secretariat contained buildings that were 70 years old, a few that were 40 years old, and others that were constructed 20 years ago but still appear dated and disorganised. The process was time-consuming and difficult because the ministers, secretaries, and other officials used to sit in separate blocks, according to Reddy.

"The processing of a file that could have been finished in a day took four days. In order to speed up the process, the CM decided to construct a new Secretariat, the first of its kind in the nation, where the minister, secretaries, and other officials will sit together in one block.

"CM KCR himself finished the design and requested that Haindava Sanskriti, Persian, and Hyderabad Nizam architecture be incorporated into it. The architect offered a total of 15 concepts, and the CM chose this one," he stated.
