Srinagar: The body of a terrorist of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed injured in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district has been recovered by security forces from a drain near the site of the encounter. Police has given information in this regard on Friday. The police officer said, "The police and army, with the help of naval commandos, have recovered the body of the terrorist from a drain on Thursday night."

They have told that terrorists jumped into the drain after being shot in an encounter on September 7 in Kavusa in Budgam district. After four days of search, the body of a terrorist has been found by security forces. The terrorist has been identified as Aqib Ahmed Lone, he was a resident of Aglar area of Pulwama district of South Kashmir. He said that security forces have also found a bag from the drain, which was loaded with weapons and ammunition. The officer said 13 grenades, 14 knives, 25 mobile phones were recovered from the bag.

Along with this, the security forces have arrested two terrorists of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed from Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and seized a large amount of weapons from their possession. A military official said that on the basis of secret information, a number of joint checkpoints were set up in the Dragmulla area of Kupwara on Thursday. He said that two terrorists traveling in the car were arrested late in the evening and security forces recovered an AK rifle, bullets, grenades, cash of Rs seven lakh from their possession.
