Panipat: A case of cow slaughter has come to light from Panipat district of Haryana as there is a lot of anger among the people over the discovery of the beheaded body of a cow. A large number of Gaushala attendants and Gaubhakts rushed to the spot after receiving information about cow slaughter. Sector-29 police station also rushed to the spot.

Gaushala Pradhan Harpal Singh has registered a case against unidentified killers at Sector-29 police station under the Animal Cruelty Act. He said people tried to find the cow's head for a long time but could not find it. At present, the body of the cow has been sent to the animal hospital for postmortem. Sector-29 police said that nothing other than the cow's body has been recovered from the spot. CCTV cameras installed in nearby factories are being scanned to nab the accused.

Gaushala Pradhan Harpal Singh informed that on the morning of Monday (October 25, 2021), Vinod Verma, a resident of village Nangalkhedi, reported that the beheaded body of a cow was lying at the intersection at Part-II in Sector-19. There was a lot of blood scattered with the body. He said the head of the Gauvansh has been beheaded with a sharp weapon. Police have since reached the spot and registered a case.
