Mumbai: In a flight (IndiGo Airlines) coming from Mumbai to Gorakhpur in Maharashtra, a passenger was hiding in the toilet and smoking a cigarette. Due to that, when the fire alarm started ringing, there was an uproar in the flight. Crew members checked and found that the passenger was smoking. Thereafter, he was asked to extinguish the cigarette. After the flight landed in Gorakhpur, action was taken by registering a case against the passenger.

It is being said that when the passenger lit a cigarette in the restroom of the flight, the fire alarm started ringing. The crew members and all the passengers were alerted as soon as the alarm rang. When the group member checked into the flight, he saw that the passenger was smoking a cigarette in the restroom. Everyone was upset and surprised by the action of this passenger. Immediately the captain and crew members extinguished the cigarette, and after that, the flight landed at Gorakhpur.

The captain and a crew member of the Indigo flight handed over the passenger to the airport security officer in charge. Thereafter, the airport security handed over the passenger to the police. The passenger has been taken into police custody after registering a case on the complaint of the airline security officer. Regarding the incident, Airport Security Incharge Vijay Kaushal told that the passenger is a resident of Deoria. In this regard, SP City Krishna Kumar Vishnoi said that a complaint has been registered against the passenger. When the passenger was questioned, he gave his name as Krishna Kumar Mishra. He is a resident of Bariyarpur Karodi Bazar in Deoria. Let us tell you that flight number 6E-544 was coming from Mumbai to Gorakhpur and reaches Gorakhpur by 6 p.m. after flying from Mumbai every day at 3:35 p.m. On Thursday too, the flight was about to reach Gorakhpur on time, but this incident happened before it could land.
