Patna: In Motihari, Bihar, people were stunned when her husband was serving a sentence in the case of murder, when her truth came to the fore. The woman was not dead but had eloped with her lover who was presumed dead by the police and her parents. The police has now arrested that woman.
Let us tell you that this is not a script of a film but a reality, in front of which that person has to do in Motihari, Bihar. The case is of Laxmipur village of Kesaria police station area, where a woman named Shanti Devi was married on June 14, 2014 to Dinesh Ram, a resident of Ward No. 4 of Kesaria. After many years of marriage, on April 19, the woman absconded with her lover and started living with him in Jalandhar, Punjab. After the woman went missing, her father Yogendra Ram lodged a written complaint against her husband about dowry harassment and murder and missing the dead body.
The police of Kesaria police station, without investigating the matter, arrested the woman's husband on the charge of murder and sent him to jail. However, SHO Shailendra Singh got suspicious in this matter and decided to seek help from the technical cell in this matter. Thereafter, on tracing the woman's phone, it was found that the woman who was believed by all to be dead, is alive and living with her lover in Jalandhar, Punjab. Thereafter, the SHO informed the Motihari SP. On the orders of the SP, a team was formed and sent to Jalandhar from where the woman was brought to Motihari and this sensational case was completely exposed.
