Karimnagar: In the last few months, there has been a flood of money in Huzurabad assembly constituency. The state government has launched the Dalit Bandhu scheme as a pilot project in Huzurabad assembly constituency, however, the Election Commission has stopped the scheme. Till the notification of the election, Rs 2,000 crore has been allocated to Huzurabad constituency under Dalit Bandhu and Rs 200 crore for various development works. TRS has tried to change this to their advantage.

The ruling TRS, which uses development work and Dalit brothers as its propaganda tool, is confident that development works will work in its favor in the by-elections. Mission Bhagirath, pending since 2014 in the constituency, has been completed expeditiously by spending Rs 50 crore on the works. On the other hand, BJP candidate Rajender wants to register victory on the basis of sympathy. After joining BJP after resigning as MLA, he has been campaigning in the name of self-respect for five months.

Since the BJP does not have much power in the constituency, Rajendra used a more popular name than the name of the party. With the experience of winning six times, he is looking to tighten his grip on the constituency. Rajendra, who served as the Health Minister, is confident that the medical services provided to the people in the constituency, the good deeds rendered by him for various activities during his tenure and the financial support will come together. Late entrant Congress candidate Balamuri Venkat hopes that the vote bank for the Congress will come together with votes against the central and state governments. However, the debate between the political parties and the people of the region will continue on the aggression of the Congress candidate.
