India's state of Punjab may once again face a complete lockdown. Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu has given this indication. The ever increasing cases of Kovid-19 and the daily increase in the number of deaths due to this has become a cause of concern of the state government. Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu has said that if the corona virus cases increase further, the government can issue strict lockdown orders again in the state.

For your information, let us tell you that the state government is considering sealing the border to stop vehicles and people coming from Delhi to Punjab. Despite the implementation of Unlock-1 in the state, the Health Minister has appealed to the people to get out of the house for the much needed work and stay in the homes for more time.

In his statement, the Health Minister said that the current spread of corona virus in the state is constantly being monitored and many other steps are being taken to prevent it. Due to people coming from abroad and other states, the virus has got an opportunity to spread in the state. In view of this, it is being considered to curb the movement from outside states. The same, the exemption given in lockdown can be limited. On which in the next review meeting, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will decide. The state government is preparing a special strategy for those districts including Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar where cases of corona are increasing. The number of medical teams is being increased in these districts.
