Gold worth Rs.5 crore was stolen from an ICICI Home Finance locker in Nashik, with the culprits donning PPE gear. This protective wear, once emblematic of healthcare, is now being misused for nefarious deeds. The heist, occurring overnight from Friday to Saturday, went unnoticed until the locker room was opened on Saturday evening.

The daring thieves, as captured by CCTV, saw two intruders breach the strong room while a third kept watch outside. Authorities, spurred by ICICI Home Finance officials, swiftly launched investigations, forming teams to track down the perpetrators. The stolen loot, comprising gold and valuables from 222 customers, tallies up to 1.34 kg of gold, valued at Rs.4.93 crore.
