New Delhi: The big news about the subsidy of LPG cylinders has come to the fore in which it is being said that the prices of domestic gas may be increased soon. Crude oil prices have risen amid the Russia-Ukraine war. Meanwhile, there is a constant buzz that the price of an LPG cylinder will reach 1000.

The government's opinion on the rising price of LPG cylinders has not yet come out. But an internal assessment of the government is indicating that people are ready to pay up to Rs 1,000 for one cylinder. According to sources, the government may take two stands on LPG cylinders. First, either the government supplies cylinders without subsidy. Secondly, a select few people should also be given the benefit of the subsidy.

Nothing has yet been cleared by the government about giving the same subsidy. But according to the information received so far, the Rs 10 lakh income rule will be kept in force and beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme will get the benefit of the subsidy. Let me tell you that the subsidy for the remaining people may end. Let us know that for the past several months, the subsidy on LPG has started coming. The government's expenditure on subsidy stood at Rs 3,559 crores for the financial year 2021. In the financial year 2020, this expenditure was Rs 24,468 crores.
