Kangana Ranaut strarrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is one of the much-awaited movie.  The film is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai and her struggle with the Britishers for freedom of the country. Besides  Kanagana,   Television actresses, Ankita Lokhande  is also playing a pivotal role. With Manikarnika, Ankita will be making her Bollywood debut and will be seen as Jhalkari Bai in the film.

Recently, her first look was revealed as the courageous woman who supports Manikarnika in her fight against the British Raj. Now, a new poster of the film was released in which we get a glimpse of  fighter, Jhalkari Bai. In this poste Ankita looks brave and courageous. She can be seen holding a rifle and is determined to fight against the rule of the East India Company.

Talking about Jhalkari Bai, she was a female soldier in Rani Laxmibai's army. She is one of the unsung heroes in the war of freedom and in this film, Ankita will be bringing her alive on screen. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2019.
