Ayodhya: The Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has issued a serious threat against the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, aiming to instill fear and unrest. This threat, conveyed through an audio message, has prompted authorities to heighten security measures around the temple premises. Security agencies are currently on high alert and have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.

The audio message from JeM referenced a past attack on the Ram Mandir in 2001, raising concerns of a potential repeat incident. Consequently, security has been significantly bolstered to safeguard the temple against any potential threats.

Compounding the severity of the situation, terrorists linked to Pakistan have issued further threats of attacks in India following the recent inauguration of the Ram Mandir. These threats specifically target "Hindutva forces" and prominent figures who participated in the inauguration ceremony on January 22. One such threat came from Farhatullah Ghauri, a fugitive Indian terrorist accused of numerous terror offenses, while another was issued by The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Both threats denounced the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla and called for retaliatory actions.

Ghauri, in a video titled "Ram Mandir: Declaration of War," called for jihad against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological affiliate, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), aiming to transform India into an Islamic state. The video, featuring Ghauri's voice alongside images of prominent political figures, also targeted media personnel.

Furthermore, the video criticized liberal Muslim figures for denouncing jihad, portraying them as traitors. Security analysts suspect that Pakistan-based terrorist groups may exploit the temple's inauguration to radicalize susceptible individuals in India.

Earlier in January, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested two individuals, Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra, from the Gonda district for making threats against the Ram Mandir and senior officials. The STF revealed that Singh and Mishra acted on the directives of Devendra Tewari, who allegedly promised them political favors in exchange for their actions.

Authorities remain vigilant, and investigations into these threats continue to ensure the safety and security of the Ram Mandir and its visitors.
