These days crimes against minor girls by minor boys are increasing day by day. In yet another shocking incident Three minor boys, including an engineering diploma student were arrested on the charge of raping a minor girl of 12 year old. The boys also uploaded a video of the act on social media platforms after they failed to extort money.

As per the information The incident occurred in Odisha’s Jaipur district. The accused including the victim live in the same village under the Jenanpur police station area of the district. The incident took place a few days ago, the girl did not inform the matter to her parents till a video of the incident went viral on social media platforms.

 A relative of the minor girl saw the video and informed her father about it. When the father questioned his daughter, she narrated her ordeal. After that victim’s father lodged a complaint. Police official said, “Following the complaint of the victim’s father, a case was registered under various sections of the IPC, POCSO Act and IT Act against the three boys.”

All three accused, fall in the age group of 14-17. The Police further added that after sexually assaulting the girl, the accused started blackmailing the minor girl using the video clip. The three even threatened to make it public if she did not pay them Rs 20,000. But when the victim refused, they posted the video on social media platforms which went viral. All the accused were produced before the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Board and further investigation is going into the matter.
