Lucknow: A major accident took place in Lakhimpur Kheri of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday (September 28) morning. 8 people have lost their lives in this accident, while many are said to be injured. According to the report, a private bus carrying dozens of passengers collided head-on with a truck on the bridge of Sharda river near the Khamaria police post under Isanagar police station area in the Lakhimpur Kheri district.

Due to this accident, 8 people sitting in the private bus lost their lives on the spot, while the condition of more than two dozen people is said to be critical. Let us inform you that, a private bus carrying about 50 passengers from Dhaurahara was coming to Lakhimpur at around 7.30 am, meanwhile it collided with a truck going from Lakhimpur to Bahraich on the bridge of Sharda river near Khamaria police post of Isanagar police station area.

The head-on collision between the bus and the truck was so terrible that more than half a dozen people sitting on the bus died on the spot and the condition of more than 2 dozen people is critical. After getting information about the incident, a heavy police force reached the spot and the injured are being admitted to the hospital. Top officials of the district also reached the spot.
