Transparent LPG cylinder launched in UP, how much gas is left can be seen

Lucknow: Indian Oil has introduced a new transparent cylinder. Being transparent, the consumer using it will be able to easily see how much gas is left. The new transparent cylinder was launched by the CM from his residence. Customers of Lucknow will be able to book this 10 kg composite cylinder. The cylinder will also be available to consumers in Kanpur, Prayagraj including Gorakhpur from Tuesday.

The transparent cylinder will be made of fibre which will also reduce its weight by 50% and be corrosion resistant as compared to an iron cylinder. Being transparent, consumers will be able to know the quantity of gas and book before expiry. This transparent cylinder will provide a lot of relief to the consumers.

Indian Oil Executive Director Dr. Utiya Bhattacharya gifted the first 10 kg transparent cylinder to CM Yogi Adityanath and talked about the merits of the cylinder. The fibre manufacturing will make it 50% lighter and corrosion-resistant than iron. Being transparent, consumers will be able to book before the gas is exhausted. The Executive Director told Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that composite cylinders are being produced at full capacity at Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur bottling plants. Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal, Executive Director, Indian Oil and State Chief Dr. Utiya Bhattacharya, GM LPG Arun Prasad were present.
