Raipur: The National Tribal Dance Festival is going to be organized in Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur. The event will be held at the science college ground from November 1 to 3. More than 1500 artists from 28 states and 8 union territories, including tribal artists from nine countries, will participate in the festival.

During the Tourism Conclave held in New Delhi, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said that through this festival, not only will their arts be shared among tribal artists at the national and international level, but they will also be able to see each other's food, customs, crafts and style. In line with these efforts, we have started a very important tradition in Chhattisgarh in the form of the National Tribal Dance Festival. This effort of ours is very important not only for Chhattisgarh but also for the development of tribal communities of the country and the whole world.  

Bhupesh Baghel said that we have used art, culture and tourism as a strong resource in the social and economic empowerment of forest dwellers, tribals, farmers, villagers and deprived people, and we have also got good results. CM Baghel has informed that invitation letters have been sent to 9 countries on behalf of Chhattisgarh. All these countries will perform in Raipur for the first time. Tribal artists from Mozambique, Mongolia, Tongo, Russia, Indonesia, Maldives, Serbia, New Zealand and Egypt will participate in the event.
