Corona patients are increasing steadily in Indore. Now two more municipal corporation employees have turned Corona positive. Both were engaged in vegetable distribution work. Both have been admitted to the Red Category Hospital. Earlier, a health officer of the corporation and four scavengers were found corona infected and are undergoing treatment. However, everyone's health is improving and it is expected that they will soon recover and return home.
On the other hand, due to the arrival of two more personnel corona positive, panic has started spreading among other workers. Officials are also agreeing that those serving in this crisis should take full precaution during work. SK Chaitanya, Additional Commissioner of the Corporation and who is handling the contact tracing, said that out of the two new employees who came positive, one is a computer operator and was currently engaged in vegetable distribution work. It is a resident of Vikas Nagar area. The second worker was also engaged in vegetable distribution and he is a resident of Chirag locality of Musakhedi area. The report of both came positive on 22 May and got admitted in the Red category hospital on the same day.
In addition to regular work, the officers and employees of the corporation are also giving service in many special tasks. Regular tasks include cleaning, water distribution, maintenance of gardens, sanitization, cleaning, taking garbage from homes and hospitals. Among the special tasks that his duty is engaged in are free grocery distribution, paid grocery distribution, vegetable and fruit distribution. Employees of Removal Department are confiscating vegetables and fruits being brought illegally in the city every day.
