Jaipur: Three persons were killed in a road accident in Jaisalmer in the country's state of Rajasthan. In Jaisalmer, an uncontrollable car hit the tractor trolley on Sunday morning in the Sangad police station area, killing three persons including a trolley driver and two persons in the car, while six others were injured. The police investigation officer and assistant police sub-inspector Bank Singh said that an uncontrollable car from Ahmedabad to Ramdeora entered the tractor-trolley running near Devikot village, killing the Barmer resident tractor driver Devaram and ahmedabad resident liver Bhai Patel and Ramesh Bhai while six others were injured in the incident.

He also said that all the injured have been admitted for treatment in the State hospital. He said, one of the deceased died on the occasion, while another succumbed to his treatment at the hospital. He said, the bodies of the deceased have been placed in the hospital morgue for post mortem. The entire case is under investigation by the police.

On the other hand, after four days in the country, less than 95 thousand cases of COVID-19 virus have been reported today. The number of people infected with the virus has crossed 47 lakh after the new cases have been reported. According to the Union Health ministry, the rate of recovery of patients increased to 77. has gone up to 88%. However, more than 78 thousand people have lost their lives so far from the epidemic, while the mortality rate has come down to 1. has come to 65%.
