Karachi: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Ali Shah Parkar has revealed that India's most wanted fugitive Dawood Ibrahim is in Karachi in Pakistan and his family keeps in touch with Dawood's wife due to festive occasions. In his statement to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the underworld don's nephew Ali Shah Parker has said that Dawood is in Karachi, Pakistan and had left India after 1986 before he was born.
In his statement, Ali Shah Parker said, "Dawood Ibrahim is my maternal uncle and till 1986 lived on the fourth floor of the Dumberwala Building. I have heard from all sources and relatives that Dawood Ibrahim is in Karachi, Pakistan.'' I have to tell you that Dawood Ibrahim is my maternal uncle in Karachi, Pakistan. "I was not born when he left India and neither I nor my family members are in touch with him. I also have to point out that sometimes on the occasion of Eid, Diwali and other festivals, Mehjabeen Dawood Ibrahim, wife of my maternal uncle Dawood Ibrahim, is in touch with my wife Ayesha and my sisters. "
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has questioned Ali Shah Parker several times. Earlier, Dawood Ibrahim had questioned his nephew in February in connection with a money laundering case involving a Mumbai-based politician.
