Lucknow: BJP organized yoga camps at divisional level on the 7th International Day of Yoga today i.e. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated the citizens. In fact, the Chief Minister has said in his statement, "With the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the United Nations has internationally recognized this ancient mode of India and since then it has been celebrated all over the world". You can see the Chief Minister has tweeted.

In this tweet, he writes, "Yoga is the invaluable gift given to the world by Indian Manisha that keeps both body and mind healthy. Let us all resolve to make Yoga a part of our lives on this International Day of Yoga". Let us tell you that yoga camps were organized in all the 1918 mandals of the state. BJP state president Swatanter Dev Singh performed yoga at his residence in Lucknow, besides state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal performed yoga-pranayama with party workers at the party's state headquarters.

Party functionaries and workers including BJP MPs, MLAs, Ministers, Commissions, Corporations, Board Presidents and members arrived at the yoga camp in the morning on World Yoga Day and performed Yoga. Addressing the nation today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "During the Covid-19 global epidemic, Yoga remained a ray of hope for the world and a source of self-strength in this difficult time. India, in association with the World Health Organization (WHO), has taken an important step and is now going to give the world the power of the 'M-Yoga' app, on which many videos of yoga training based on general rules will be available in different languages of the world. This will meet the goal of 'One World, One Health'." In this context, he said, "When India proposed international yoga day at the United Nations, the feeling behind it was that this yoga science should be accessible to the whole world".
