Prayagraj: The administration is fully working on the orders of UP CM Yogi's 'Mafia Mukt UP'. This is the reason why the crimes of mafia-like Mukhtar Ansari and Atik Ahmed are being accounted for. Now the administration's keen eye has also come on the operatives of these musclemen. A case has been registered against Himanshu Tripathi, brother of Bali Pandit, who is considered to be very special of Atiq Ahmed, in Dhumanganj police station.

Himanshu Tripathi is accused of taking government land. It is also alleged that he manipulated the papers and took possession of the land and then sold it. This matter has come to light in the investigation of Prayagraj Development Authority. Only then did the PDA file a complaint at the police station. This case is related to Umarpur Niwa area of Dhumganj where the government land of Atik Ahmed's henchman, Pandit's brother, fraudulently took possession of it. The Bali Pandit is counted among the active members of the Atiq Ahmed gang. He comes under the category of history sheeter of Dhumanganj police station. Recently, the Prayagraj police arrested Arjun Pandit and sent him to jail.

Prayagraj district administration and the government together had identified many illegal assets of Atik Ahmed, in which the rest of the assets including his election office and house have been attached under Gangster Act 14 (1). The estimated value of these properties is approximately one billion.
