Two hackers in Maharajganj of UP took advantage of the shortcomings of the website of the country's famous e-commerce companies and did fraud of millions. Both the accused are students and were studying computer applications in Lucknow.

After getting arrested, both the youths said that they first used to detect bugs (a kind of deficiency) on the websites of e-commerce companies through apps. After this, through that bug, they used to reduce the price of mobile, TV or any other goods very much. For example, if the value of a mobile was Rs 10 thousand on the shopping website, the accused hackers used the bug to edit the price to Rs 10 or Rs 100 and then order it. Immediately after canceling that order, they recovered the actual price ie Rs. 10,000 from the company. All this happened so quickly that the company did not even know. However, both the accused have confessed to their crime in front of the police.

On this matter, Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gupta told that both the vicious accused used to download the app first through Android Mobile and with the help of that app hacked the sites of various companies. After hacking the site, hackers used to buy their product by lowering their price. When the product was delivered after purchase, then they returned it by showing a defect or empty box in that product. As soon as the goods were returned, they would raise the actual price of the goods and bring it back to their account.
