Lucknow: A 10-year-old girl was raped by a stepfather in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh for the past two years. A few days ago, the daughter-in-law of the accused had seen him doing wrong work with an innocent girl. After that, she gave a complaint to the police. However, no action was being taken, and after this, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act under pressure from the BJP leader.
According to media reports, Pappu, a resident of the Quarsi police station area of ​​Aligarh, had picked up the victim from a kiln and brought her home about seven years ago. The victim says that her real parents used to work in the same kiln. When the accused had picked her up and brought her to his house, since then the victim girl used to call him Papa. When the innocent turned about 8 years old, Pappu's intentions changed and he started sexually abusing the innocent. The victim alleges that the accused, her stepfather Pappu used to refuse to tell anyone about the incident happening with her and threatened to kill her if told. According to the report, the accused Pappu was doing dirty acts with the girl in the past. Meanwhile, the daughter-in-law of the accused reached there and caught the accused red-handed.
BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president Dharamvir Singh Lodhi and vice-president Saurabh Chaudhary have told that the Nagla Patwari outpost in-charge was aware of this whole matter. But even after this, he did not take any action. He alleged that the outpost in-charge had called the girl for questioning without the presence of the lady constable. Dharamvir Singh Lodhi told that after this he met CO III Shwetabh Pandey on Friday (28 October 2023) and demanded action against the accused. After which, a case has been registered on his order. The case has been registered with the consent of the victim and her sister-in-law. On this matter, Inspector Pankaj Kumar Mishra says that a case has been registered against the accused Pappu under POCSO Act. A medical test of the victim girl has been done, now the statement will be recorded under section 164. After that further action will be taken.
