Banda: A court in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday convicted and sentenced two sons to life imprisonment and fined for 30-30 thousand rupees after being found guilty of trapping and killing their mother in the greed to grab insurance money. Devdutt Mishra, the district's foreclosure assistant public prosecutor (ADGC), said on Wednesday that the two sons of the deceased were found guilty after the court proved the crime of trapping a woman in a car at around 10 pm on May 3, 2017, in the greed to grab insurance money. Amar Singh (23) and Rahul Singh (21) have been sentenced to life imprisonment and have imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 each on both.

Devdutt Mishra said that the incident took place on May 3, 2017, at around 10 pm. Amar Singh and his younger brother Rahul Singh of Thithori village, under Bindki Kotwali of Fatehpur district, conspired to kill the mother Guddi Devi (44) and grab the money from the insurance policy in her name. He told that according to the conspiracy, Amar took his mother on a bike to visit Chitrakoot on May 3, 2017, and at about 10 o'clock at night, in front of a truck near Benda-Joharpur village, Amar took his mother by bike and dropped her on the road. After this Amar dragged her (mother) and threw her in front of the car. This car was driven by his younger brother Rahul.

According to the ADGC, according to the conspiracy, Rahul was following the elder brother's bike with a car from Banda. He turned the car back and forth and trampled the mother until she was convinced of death. Mishra said that in this case, Amar had also filed a false case against the unknown truck driver at the police station, but in the investigation of the incident, Sub-Inspector (SI) Upendra Nath found that the two brothers killed their mother to grab the insurance money He is brutally murdered by crushing a car and has filed a fake case against the truck driver.
