Pauri Police has arrested an absconding accused from Muzaffarnagar (UP) in the copying case in Forest Reserve Recruitment in Uttarakhand. He has been sent to jail for 14 days of judicial custody. The arrested accused is the son of the complainant of the case. Late on Saturday, Pauri police raided Budpurjat police station Mangalore district Haridwar, a resident of Vijaydeep, an accused in the recruitment case. Examination papers, OMR sheets and Bluetooth devices have also been recovered from the accused.

Along with this, the accused Vijaydeep used to do coaching in the coaching center located in Roorkee of Kuldeep Rathi, the main accused in the recruitment examination case. Rathi was serving as the reviewing officer in the Public Service Commission. While the involvement of Assistant Agriculture Officer Sudhir Kumar was also found in the case. Both the accused have already been arrested. Investigation officer CO Sadar Vandana Verma said that the role of accused Vijaydeep in the examination case was revealed during the investigation.

On the arrival of the police, he tried to escape, but could not succeed.
