Dehradun: For the first time, students of madrasas, who have been confined to religious teaching, will be told about the heroic martyrs of the country who laid down their lives for freedom. The Uttarakhand Madarsa Board has made all preparations for the same. Soon students will be studying as the heroic saga of martyrs.

This will be the first time the students of Madrasa will be told something special apart from their teaching. The proposal has also been approved by the Madrasa Board. The notification for 297 madrasas in Uttarakhand will be issued soon and studies will be started soon.  According to Bilal Ur Rahman, head of the Madrasa Board, the students of Madrasa need to be aware of how many martyrs, including Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, had lost their lives to liberate the country.

Nearly five years have passed since the formation of the Madrasa Board, but this is the first time that madarsas students will read and learn about their martyrs. Whether they are young Muslims or experienced, all are welcoming this particular initiative of the Board. Young Nadeem says the board's effort is quite good. On the other hand, Shamsad says that every religion for the country has been sacrificed by people from every class. So today's generation must know about them.
