Dehradun: Uttarakhand has been receiving continuous rainfall for the past few weeks. The State Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday once again predicted the year for the next three days. While at some places, the MET department has predicted heavy rainfall.

In this, the department has predicted the rainfall in Dehradun, Tehri, Champawat, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. Then, there will be a decrease in rainfall. According to the department, light rain is expected to occur in the state between August 8 and 13. However, heavy rainfall is also expected at some places on August 10. Overall, between August 8 and August 13, people will definitely get some relief from the sultry heat due to the rain.

The director of the meteorological department in Uttarakhand said, "There is less chance of heavy rainfall in the state on August 6. Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital will receive good rainfall on Saturday. However, light to moderate rain will continue for the next two days in most of the districts of the state. But there is also a possibility of heavy rains in Chamoli and Bageshwar.'' He further said "Day eight and nine will have light rain at few places. But there is little chance of rain in the plains after two days. The plains may receive light rain on August 10."
