Just like any other film of director Vetrimaaran, his upcoming film 'Viduthalai' with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead is one of the most awaited films. It was recently revealed that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the role of a vaathiyaar, while Soori plays a cop in the film. The latest update about the film is that the final schedule of this project has started and the shooting is progressing in Chengalpet.

Produced by Elred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment, the film will feature GV Prakash’s sister Bhavani Sre as the female lead. The film is touted to be based on the short story of a novel written by Jeya Mohan. Like his earlier films, this one, too, will have a strong content with edge-of-the-seat thriller moments. Ilaiyaraaja will be scoring music for the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Velraj, who has consistently cranked camera for Vetri Maaran’s previous movies, along with R Ramar (editor), Peter Hein (action Director) and Jacki (art direction).
