Bengaluru: The film The Kerala Story, based on the incidents of forced conversion of women in the southern state and pushing them into terrorism, is currently in the news. BJP is raising this issue with full force. The BJP is profusely sharing several years old statements of veteran political personalities like two former Chief Ministers VS Achuthanandan (CPM) and Oommen Chandy (Congress) on social media so that people can listen to the statements made by the former Chief Ministers regarding Kerala.

Let us inform that, VS Achuthanandan of the Communist Party was the CM of Kerala from 2006-11. His statement is dated July 24, 2010, which he gave in a press conference held in the country's capital Delhi. In the video, he is saying that, 'He plans to make Kerala a Muslim state in the next 20 years. For this, they are bluffing the youth and offering them money. The then CM Achuthanand insists that 'they marry Hindu girls to increase the Muslim population'. In this way they are increasing their majority and these tricks are working.

This video has been posted by Amit Malviya, Chief of BJP's IT department on Wednesday (May 3). He wrote that Achuthanandan was a staunch communist, not someone who could be accused of having a saffron outlook. Malviya further wrote that, 'Not only he (Achuthanand), even the Congress CM Oommen Chandy, who was the Chief Minister of Kerala between 2004-2006 and again between 2011-2016, was a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly between 2006-12. There is a record of accepting more than 7,000 converts to Islam on the table.

Amit Malviya further wrote that, 'Love Jihad is real and dangerous.' Our girls are being coaxed and used as cannon fodder for radical terrorist organizations. We can bury our heads in the sand when threatened like an ostrich. Before we think about it, it will have caught the rest of us as well. The story of Kerala is a sobering reminder of what will happen next if we do not act now.
