Video of IAS Iftikharuddin teaching Islamic fundamentalism went viral

Lucknow: 3 videos of Senior IAS Iftikharuddin of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh have gone viral on social media in which he is allegedly teaching to promote conversion by calling Muslim fundamentalists to government accommodation during his posting as divisional commissioner. He has been accused of misusing his position to promote Islamic radicalization. The Math Temple Coordination Committee has complained to CM Yogi Adityanath in this regard.



The Kanpur City Police Commissioner has issued a statement in this regard saying, "The ADCP East of Kanpur police has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating a viral video of Mohammad Iftikharuddin taken at Kanpur commissioner's residence.'' Investigations are on to see if the video is correct and whether there has been any crime. Senior Kanpur staff leader Bhupesh Awasthi has also complained to CM Yogi about the matter.



Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has also assured an inquiry into the matter. The video looks like a good house that looks like a government resident. A man is sitting in a chair addressing some Muslim people sitting on the ground, who is said to be IAS Iftikharuddin. Bhupesh Awasthi has termed the video as controversial and said that there is a communication of conversion.
